The hump day slump can be rough, so why not Flamenco dance your way through it? Queen Victoria’s Night Market is throwing a Latin Street Party on Wednesday 14th March and you’re invited. With live entertainment, mouth-watering paella and dance lessons at your beck and call, you won’t want to miss this explosive fiesta.
The live music kicks off at 5pm, with a diverse and colourful pick of Latin favourites. There’s Calle Luna playing a salsa and jazz fusion, The New Monos with some passionate tango as well as Corazon Loco doing vibrant Flamenco. International DJ Saca La Mois will also be there, pumping out Latin-inspired beats all night. Olé!
For something interactive, don’t miss Katumba Latin Entertainment putting on one of their insane floor shows, or New Flamenco Project doing a (free!) Flamenco dancing workshop – the skill you didn’t know you needed ‘til now. You’ll be stamping, kicking and castanet-clicking your way out of there.
The food is just as fiestastic. We’re talking cheesy croquettes from Spanish Gourmet Caterers, Paella from El Rincon and Peruvian street eats from PachaManca. And did we mention churros from Churros Ole? Mucho gracias!
Mark the 14th of March in your calendar and join us for this one night only event of the best in Latin culture. We’ll be by the churros stand, sangria in hand!
