The Cheese Dome
First Fleet Park, The Rocks
Coming to Sydney is the world’s first melted cheese igloo experience!
A seven-meter high cheese filled dome will appear in The Rock’s First Fleet Park as part of the Bastille Festival.
With all the melted cheese, fondue and raclette you could want, for $69 you’ll have an hour and a half to wander around and stuff yourself with as much cheese as you possibly can.
Dip in with bread, potato and charcuterie while enjoying a glass of French wine for only $9 a glass.
Entry is by booking only so make sure not to miss out! This four-day pop-up from the 12th – 15th of July will have you transported to the French Alps.
Fried Chicken Giveaway

Melbourne’s Gami Chicken and Beer has arrived in Sydney and to celebrate they are giving away 1600 pieces of chicken for free!

Jurassic Lounge: 2099 Futuristic Party

June 16th will see the Australian Museum into the future.
Sydney’s favourite adult playground, Jurassic Lounge, is turning it on again with an all out super-themed party in celebration of Vivid Sydney and Comic-Con.
The theme you may ask? The year 2099.
Expect all things futuristic and sci-fi including VR experiences, a silent disco and a wormhole installation that will let you virtually travel through space and time.
Feel like dressing up? There’ll even be a competition for best dressed!
Starting from 7pm, pre-booked tickets are $25 or $30 at the door. Events like this nearly always sell out so be sure to get in in advance!
Dance Memory
Paramount Recreation Club, Surry Hills
Paramount Recreation Club – Surry Hills’ new rooftop gym and wellness space – has just launched a roster of events open to the public. If you’ve wanted to try out the fancy new health space here is your chance.
On Friday June 15th the club will be holding a dance class called Dance Memory. From 7:30pm, you get a whole hour of non-judgmental fun with Groove Therapy dance school instructors. The class will focus on the physical, mental and social benefits of dance culture.
$30 will get you a ticket to the class, a towel, access to the showers (they’re pretty fancy) and a complimentary soda.
Whether you can dance or have zero rhythm, you’re welcome here. With no mirrors, no judgement and great music– you’re Friday night of fun is sorted.
Curve Ball
Carriageworks, Eveleigh
Taking over Carriageworks on Saturday, June 16th is the live electronic music event of the year.
Fronted by Sydney’s own Alison Wonderland and Vera Blue, the lineup also includes Crooked Colours, Haiku Hands, Poloshirt, FlexMami and more.
An immersive audio and visual experience will accompany the tunes as well as large scale art installations.
