This March, we’re keepin’ it wild with the launch of Australia’s very first Sustainable Seafood Week. Head down to Martin Place between the 12-18th of March to score yourself some ocean-friendly eats and help support a cause dedicated to sustainability.
Held by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC,) Sustainable Seafood Week is all about enjoying wild-caught seafood with a recognised MSC blue tick of approval. Around a third of the world’s seafood is being overfished as we speak, so here’s our chance to get involved and to celebrate Australia’s diverse ocean-life for years to come.
Plus, MSC will showcase their newest, sustainable seafood food truck with the help of cook and health coach Scott Gooding (My Kitchen Rules) and Chef Bart Van Olphen (Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution.) If that doesn’t have you hook, line and sinker, there will also be giveaways and pop up shops on the day.
