Come and be a part of Australia’s most respected wine awards, at The Young Gun of Wine People’s Choice Tasting in collaboration with Best Cellars.
It’s all happening on Thursday 30 May…for one night only, you’ll be able to taste Australia’s best wines from the 2019 Final 12 cohort. Young Gun of Wine knows a thing or two about excellent wine, and have searched far and wide to find Australia’s best young-gun winemakers across the country. The final 12 is comprised of four labels from Western Australia, four from Victoria, three from South Australia, and one from Queensland! On the night, these emerging winemakers will present their two wines that got them to the final 12. Meet them and taste their wine, before casting your vote on your favourite wine of the evening.
Hosted at Porteño Events, you can expect a lively, vibrant atmosphere which will be emphasized through its Latin American influenced decor. The venue boasts iconic architecture inspired by extravagant Argentinian guest ranches, while delightful details fill the space making it feel homey and welcoming. Light-filled, open and absolutely charming – this location is the perfect backdrop for an electric night. The original Porteño kitchen will be up and running on the night to create a selection of delectable Argentinian snacks available to purchase, which will be perfect to nibble on with the Young Gun’s pours! Porteno Events is also available for private bookings and functions.
