Since I Left You is arguably one of the most unique venues in Sydney.

In a heritage listed storehouse, in the heart of the CBD, the venue has a relaxed old school charm reminiscent of the 1920’s. Added to this we’re greeted by a cobblestone carriageway that is friendlier on the aesthetics than the high-heels. Their quest to throw loads of personality into the venue is readily apparent.

Since I Left You is a self-titled ‘Friendly neighbourhood small bar’, which is reflected in the drinks list. A selection of signature cocktails is adequately balanced with a concise selection of the finest local and international wines. On top of this there’s a selection of high quality spirits. This is not the place to come if it’s a pot and parma special you’re craving.

Small food is available to kill off any hunger pains you might develop, with gourmet toasties offered alongside delicious olives, guacamole and tasting plates that use some of the finest ingredients in Australia.

Such a compact venue doesn’t restrict their ability to host functions. With space for up to 50 people, Since I Left You also offers to tailor an event to suit you, from the cocktail menu, to the food, even to the bar-staff dressing to a particular era, these guys will work to meet your needs.

In the courtyard space is also the ability to host local artists work or make use of the projector to really manage the space at its full potential. Nick and Elvis, the owners that built Since I Left You with their own hands, don’t just want to run a bar that people love, they want to get to know every customer on the way there.
