For one night and one night only, Carriageworks is set to transform itself into an Asian inspired, culinary wonderland.
Curated by award winning chef Kylie Kwong, The Night Market happening on the 28th of January is offering all the sites, sounds and smells of contemporary Asia, from Harajuku to Beijing and everywhere in between.
The Night Market proudly showcases the very best chefs, bars, restaurants and producers Australia has to offer, and DJ Tyson Koh will be making the night all the more enjoyable, spinning the decks and filling the venue with an unbeatable atmosphere.
You’ll find one off signature dishes that have been created exclusively for the night. Dishes include Chef Mike McEnearney’s (No.1 Bent St) adored sourdough which will feature in his ‘Sourdough Prawn Toast’, Rockpool Bar & Grill are serving up a ‘Beef Short Rub Bossam with cumin chilli and black vinegar’, and Almond Bar is taking fusion to a new level with their Syrian food taking on flavours of Asia in their ‘Beef and Black Bean Shawarma served with chinese cabbage, tabouli and white sesame.
Drinks are also aplenty, with craft beers, Tasmanian gin, sake and vermouth on offer from some of the country’s most revered producers.
