Fancy a fresh, crisp gin this summer? Where charm, memorable food and gin unite, Chiswick Woollahra and Bombay Sapphire welcome you to Gin on the Lawn. Serving botanical gin cocktails and canapés whilst enjoying live acoustic tunes and garden games including bocce and lawn bowls.
Join in the alfresco fun each week and make the most of those pre-sunset temperatures with some hard-earned hump day knock-offs. The pop-up Bombay Sapphire bar will be slinging a selection of spring-perfect gin cocktails, including the Garden G&T for a shockingly cheap $10 and the Summer Twist priced at $12 with gin, peach bitters and mint. Chillin on the lawn under the sun with a cocktail in hand – what more could ya want?

Christmas in Darling Harbour

In honour of the festive season, Darling Harbour transforms into Australia’s largest, magical, Christmas wonderland!
Wander around a 6 metre tall Christmas bauble and see sparkling light displays. Settle in on the grass and enjoy classic Christmas movies on the outdoor screen or bring the kids down for hands-on workshops and activities. From the tree lighting in Martin Place to singing carols in the Domain, Sydney celebrates the joy of Christmas with wonderful traditions, festivals and markets.
In the city center the Christmas tree lighting in Martin Place will feature concerts, fireworks and a visit by Santa Claus. But wait, there’s more! Under a canopy of lights in Pitt Street Mall, choirs herald the season’s joy and peace every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday between 6pm and 8pm, from November 25 to December 21.

Art Gallery of New South Wales’ latest free film series presents a rare opportunity to see landmarks of soviet cinema on stunning 35mm on the big screen.This collection of films unites Russian slapstick, Moscow high melodrama and sci-fi masterpieces. Featuring masterpieces by Andrei Tarkovsky, Dziga Vertov, Chantal Akerman, Aleksandr Sokurov and more!
The films screen on Wednesdays and Sundays in the comfortable Domain Theatre, down at the bottom of the building, and it’s recommended that you book your seat online, as they often fill up. The best part? The films are free!
