October is one hell of a busy month! The weather is finally starting to warm up and spring events are in full swing and summer time isn’t far away! Be sure to check out the cool things you can do in Sydney this month including celebrating Good Food Month and a night time bike ride around the city.
Night Noodle Market

It’s Good Food Month and that obviously means that’s there’s going to be a lot of good food involved. That includes a Noodle Night Market. There will be 35 food stalls serving some of the best Asian inspired meals including dumplings, satay sticks and sesame ice cream. It’s a cashless event, so you’re going to need to bring a card and its pet friendly. The event ends on the 21st of October so be sure to check it out before the end of the month.

Pasta e Basta

We feel that you can never have too much pasta. As a part of the Good Food Month celebrations, you can grab eight pasta dishes for only $49! And no, you didn’t read that wrong! Hosted by Capriccio Osteria and Bar, you can try a squid ink pasta with blue swimmer crab, chili and basil and also try a dark chocolate and hazelnut fried ravioli. The pasta appreciation sadly ends on the 31st of October and seats are limited so make sure you book early!

Light The City
The Domain Arts Gallery Road
To celebrate the Sydney Rides Festival, there is a special one night event to for everyone one to enjoy. Mrs Macquaries Road will be closed to cars and open for people to ride their bike or walk freely through beautiful lights and special effects. There are bikes and helmets available to hire if you don’t have your own and there will be plenty of food trucks around! So you can enjoy the bright and fun displays and get some physical exercise in as well! There will be other cool things to get up to throughout the night including a Halloween silent disco and a Glitter ball arena for jump rope and limbo dancing.

Aperol Rooftop Bar
The Sheaf 429 New South Head Road, Double Bay
The Sheaf, one of Sydney’s Eastern Suburb gems has opened a pop up bar for this month! The Rooftop bar will transform into a beautiful Italian paradise where you can enjoy Aperol Spritz after Aperol Spritz! You can also enjoy some light nibbles to snack on between 5pm – 7pm. There will be DJ’s and entertainment from 5pm – 7pm as well and a special cocktail list for you and your friends to enjoy.
