From Monday to Thursday, Bondi Pizza is slinging the Detroit-style deep dish pizza only at their Macquarie location. The lip-licking deep-dish rectangular pizza is not your average pizza and this new pizza craze has now hit the Sydney shores.
The pizza’s base is made from dough that is fermented for more than 96 hours and topped with Napolitana sauce and is renowned for its 3 cheese blend crispy cheese edges. The deep dish pizza is baked on American-made steel pans to maintain its authenticity.
There are four Detroit-style pizza flavours to choose from; this includes Spicy Pepperoni, Detroit Meat Supreme, Mexicano Chicken and Motor City Cheese. This is definitely something worth trying. I mean my mouth is watering just from looking at the photos!
