Making Fashion Circular – Panel
Are you an avid op-shopper or just want to learn how you can be a more sustainable fashionista? Then this is the event for you.
Good Thing presents Making Fashion Circular: a panel discussion about embracing circular and sustainable fashion.
The panel is made up of some fashion top dogs, such as Elle Roseby, The Managing Director of Country Road. Speakers will discuss the growth opportunity in the sustainable fashion market and the industry shift that is required to take better care of the environment, but make it fashun.

Making Fashion Circular finishes at 7pm, meaning you will probably be starving! So why end the night there?
Sashay over to Red Spice Road for a fashion forward sharing menu, which includes 1 starter of mussels and 4 main courses, including fish tacos, crispy rice cakes with duck and pork floss, coconut pumpkin and baby spinach salad and their popular pork belly. This will only set you back $49 each. Additionally, they have curated a list of cocktails inspired by the fashion festival, starting at $16.

Artz – The Arts
Have you ever wondered what clothes would say if they could speak? Well maybe it’s time to find out.
Hosted by fashion designer, Aron Katona, Artz is a special, multi-sensory experience that showcases the intersection between fashion and spoken word poetry.
This event is part of the Independent Runway Program and features some of Melbourne’s best couture designers and up and coming poets.
Missing this would be an absolute stitch up if you ask me!

Stay where you are … The George on Collins
You will probably be pretty parched after the show, I know I will be. Don’t stress, you don’t even need to leave the building to quench your thirst!
Head down to the basement to get two of the George’s signature ‘One Night in Paris’ cocktails for $25, all you have to do is show your runway ticket.
If you’re hungry, we recommend the Feed Me menu! If you select this dining option each ticket holder will receive one free house beverage during the festival period.

Studio Edit 1 – Runway
Presented by Global Victoria, Studio Edit 1 has stitched together the collections of forward thinking Victorian designers, focusing on transparency of manufacturing methods and ethical production.
Forget everything you think you know about fashion, sit up and pay attention. This show is said to show off some of this season’s most innovative and inspirational fashion, embracing the global woman as its muse.

Walk on over to … Milk the Cow Licensed Fromagerie
If you’re feeling a bit cheesy before or after the show you can head to Milk the Cow Licensed Fromagerie.
Indulge on a tasting menu of four wines with matching cheeses inspired by the fashion capitals of the world, explained in full by Milk the Cow’s expert cheese mongers.

Runway 5 – Runway
Presented by GQ Australia, Runway 5 is guaranteed to transform the way you look at men’s clothing, representing the best in cutting edge fashion. Head to Baroq House for the exclusive after party …
This show gives you exclusive access to the Runway 5 after party at Baroq House, a lavish mansion venue only a short walk from the Royal Exhibition Building. Your ticket gets you free entry from 9:30pm, a drink on arrival, and means you can rub shoulders with the fashion crowd after the show.
If you want bang for your buck then this is something not to be missed! Slip into something a little less comfortable and head down to this exciting evening of fashion and fun.

Runway 7 – Runway
If you haven’t made it to VAMFF this year, this runway is your last chance! We know you love to be fashionably late, but this is worth getting in early for.
This highly anticipated show will be an epic evening of bold and roof raising designs, exhibiting luxe textures, fearless palettes and memorable aesthetics.
If you’re looking for creativity and future focused trends, then look no further. Runway 7 is sure to give you a different perspective on the traditional scope of fashion.

If you’re not all fashioned out you can head over to Bond Melbourne for the Festival Closing Party, presented by Grazia & Icon.
