What sets Ludlow apart from other function venues?

Ludlow’s stunning riverside location is the venues ace card but delve a little deeper and you’ll find it can be the perfect function venue for more than this reason alone.

Its versatility as a function venue makes it very appealing. An example of this is how our 170 seater dining room can be transformed into a fully private, indoor/outdoor open function area, which includes a performance staging space, three private bars (indoor and out), multiple spin off rooms, and it’s suitable for up to 500 guests!

The entire venue has 14 different function areas and can cater for functions of 10 – 700 guests. This means we can say YES to nearly all requests.

The service we provide our function guests is a huge stand out for us. Year in year out we have regular function customers coming back to book their events with us. We take huge price in this and want to ensure we continue to offer amazing experiences to all of our customers.

What kind of functions has the venue held in the past?

Having such a versatile venue means we can cater for a huge variety of events. We are popular for Christmas functions, corporate dinners, cocktail parties, birthday celebrations, engagement parties, and even the odd restaurant wedding! We have also hosted networking events, business launches, breakfasts and lots of other social gatherings.

What can you tell us about the function food menus? Are there any particular treats on there that you would recommend?

We believe that the food can make or break a great event so a lot of thought and consideration goes into all of our menus. Our Head Chef at Ludlow adopts a paddock to plate philosophy and sources local, fresh produce for our seasonal menus. On our current menu you’ll find mains such as the grilled rib eye, pommo boulangere, shallot and red wine sauce, or the Atlantic seared salmon, baby gem, herbed potatoes, tomato and mussel vinagrette is a popular gluten free option during on the menu during the summer months.
