Can’t consume gluten? Your friends make fun of you because all you can eat is organic gluten-free bread that costs $10 per loaf? Well, a gluten-free festival just for you and your gluten-challenged friends! You don’t even have to ask “Is this gluten free?” because it’s a gluten-free zone all weekend! Have I mentioned that it’s a gluten-free festival?

Over a dozen food vendors will take part in making meals acquired to your needs. Mouth-watering street food that will keep you eating the entire night! Some highlights to look out for are Working Amazing, The Pizza Doctor, Two Fat Indians and Sweet Forbidden Journey.

The best part? It’s dog friendly! Also, there are gluten-free donuts so bring your gluten-intolerant appetite!

Brace yourself. Winter is…well, here already.

Game of Thrones fanatic? Well, this is the place to be this Saturday. Situated at the Meat Market in North Melbourne, you’ll be combining three of your loves; wine, socialising and Game of Thrones!

Celebrating grape varieties of the Rhone Valley, (sorry, no Moscato) provided from a range of talented wine producers from all over Australia and New Zealand. Clearly, you can’t be drinking wine on an empty stomach. So, there are plenty of food options to satisfy every warrior’s hunger needs. Beer and cider are all available (but it’s a wine event, so you don’t want to be the odd one out drinking beer). 100 wines to critique to find the ultimate wine!

So gather your fellow warriors and shield maidens and head on over to North Melbourne to enjoy a delicious feast. Who knows, you might even meet your Khaleesi or your very own Jon Snow!

General admission tickets are $65
Royal pass tickets are $105 (which include exclusive pre event access from 12pm as well as food, wine and your very own sommelier).

Hophaus Sausagefest

Besides its unfortunate name, this German ‘fleisch’ festival (definitely talking about meat), is hosting its very first Sausagefest!

Priced at $60pp, you can indulge in a literal sausage fest with all you can drink German Tap Biers and wine! Hophaus has you covered with anything and everything fried, roasted, seared, skewered…you name it!

If you haven’t visited Hophaus before, you will be truly be impressed by the German festivities and culture. So dress up in your Lederhosen and Dirndls, and get ready for a true meat feast! To really get into the German atmosphere, there will be live entertainment and traditional games that will take you back to Bavaria (without the expense of flight tickets!)
