This “two day seafood street party” is back for its fourth year, and will be held at South Melbourne Market on Saturday March 11th and Sunday March 12th. The festival will showcase more than five tonnes of delicious seafood while you enjoy the smooth sounds of jazz from some of Australia’s best bands.
Some of the finest chefs and restaurants of the region are taking part in this long weekend event, as well as some market favourites such as Claypots Evening Star, Paco y Laola, Köy and Simply Spanish.
Entertainment will run all day and night with performances by renowned trumpet player Simon Stribling as well as Paul Williamson’s Hammond Combo, The Shuffle Club, The Jazz Jokers and many more.
This is a family friendly event with face painting and a community mural workshop available to keep the little ones happy.
Head down this Labour Day long weekend with a picnic blanket and flex your mussels to some jazz.
