HCS’ Top AFL Grand Final 2015 Bars!

The AFL Grand Final is here and whether you go for the Hawks, the Eagles, or are just another Kiwi who doesn’t care about footy, there’s no better day to hit the bars.

 

 

Here at HCS, we know our Melbourne bars.

And with the Grand Final this Saturday, and 30 degree weather, we know that you will all be looking for places to party all long weekend.

Here are a few of our favourites this year.

 

 

Hotel Barkly

With the long weekend set to be a scorcher, you can’t get much better than a rooftop bar in St. Kilda. With the views, live performance by Timmy Knowles, three big ass screens, and a meal served by the ever-popular Hammer & Tong, you really can’t get much better than this!

Barney Allen’s

Another St. Kilda institution, known for its cosy seating and relaxed atmosphere. Sit down with your mates to watch the game, grab a few pints, some half time oranges, and homemade sausage rolls… Yes, that’s right, freshly made sausage rolls *drool*.

Hotel Brighton

Dubbed “Brighton’s Favourite Local”, Hotel Brighton have a busy Grand Final day ahead of them! With a brunch from 9:30am – 12:30pm, the game on the big screens, a hot dog eating competition, and an after party, this popular venue is going to be the place to be.

Sporting Globe Richmond

Being so close to the MCG, The Sporting Globe Richmond have one helluva party planned for Grand Final. Of course the game will be playing live on over 50 screens, but also, there will be a handball competition, a footy pie stand, one epic happy hour, and live entertainment at the after party.

The Boatbuilder’s Yard

Riverside, 30 degree sunshine, footy, and frothies, The Boatbuilder’s Yard is going to be one of this year’s premium spots for the Grand Final. The mega screen will be playing the game live, there will be a handball competition, BBQ, door prizes, drink specials, and more.

Campari House

And for those who aren’t footy fans (yes, they exist) there’s Campari House’s Footy Free Zone. Girls, ditch your lads at the pub, Kiwi’s, meet up with your Aussie mates later, this rooftop bar will be open all day long for drinks in the sun and then an after party of epic proportions!
