Cancel your Valentine’s plans, whatever they may be, because the weekend of the 15th and 16th of February 2020 has offically been renamed Juniperlooza, ie Melbourne’s premium Gin festival.
For lovers of Gin, and for lovers of summer activities, this one is for you!
Trapeze down to The Boat Builders Yard and Polly Woodside in South Wharf, and get ready to indulge in the biggest and best Gin festival in all of Australia.
On site will be 23 premium international and local distillers who will be showcasing their product, whilst talking you through the distilling process. Each vendor will be making classic or twisted G&Ts, alongside their own signature Juniperlooza cocktails, made especially for the festival.
There will also be Talk & Taste sessions running throughout the day if you want to learn more about your favorite producer, or to brush up on your Gin trivia. Your ticket will allow you join one 30 minute session. You will need to book your session times online to secure your spot.
This year’s official tonic of the festival is StrangeLove – a Byron born, Victoria made, premium crafted tonic (what a mouthful).
The line-up includes such favourites as Adelaide Hills, The Melbourne Gin Company, Patient Wolf Gin, Monkey 47 and some new faces like Applewood Gin, Hellfire Bluff and Brogan’s Way Gin.
For the full list, you’ll just have to come down and see for yourself, or head to the official Juniperlooza website for more details.
There will be food stalls making delicious meals and treats that pair perfectly with your Gin, plus funky tunes from funky people Agent 86 (Saturday) and J’nett (Sunday) playing all day long.
Saturday’s event has already SOLD OUT, so make sure you don’t miss out on Sunday’s session.
Tickets are a mere $42 dollars and includes entry, a G&T token and a reusable metal straw. We’ll drink to that!
