The weather in Melbourne, as we all know, is very precarious at best. One moment there will be scorching heat that leaves your skin covered in blisters, and the next it’s windy and raining. However, when the sun is out, we all love to make the most of it, so we thought that we would give you a list of the best bars to go to that will cater to Melbourne’s ever changing weather.

Captain Baxter
Beach, beats, and beers, you’ll be hard pressed to find a bar as ideal for summer as this one! With $12 cocktails during happy hour, you can lounge outside whilst overlooking the beach and fanning yourself. Their indoor bar is pretty top also with floor to ceiling windows so you can watch the stormy beach when rain strikes.
Metropol
St. Kilda has some of the coolest bars with outdoor sections and Metropol is no exception! Cabana style enclosures in the beer garden let you avoid too many rays while drinking in style. It even has its own outdoor bar so you don’t have to march in and out all day long. Celebrate on Wednesdays for $3 tacos and $9 margaritas. Bargain!
The Mint
Beer gardens in the CBD aren’t very plentiful, so when you find one, you check it out. The Mint’s beer garden bar is ideally located on the corner of William and La Trobe Streets, perfect for after work drinks, or mid-week meals. With their range of $15 daily meal specials and their outdoor area, you can soak up the rays without getting too drunk… Hopefully.

Sip your summer away in the multiple different levels, suitable for both rain and shine, big nights and lazy afternoons.
