Two of the best shows going around are finally heading up north later this year, so make sure you don’t miss out on either of these extraordinary spectacles.
Singin’ In the Rain
The word ‘rain’ usually doesn’t have people jumping for joy, but when put in the same sentence as ‘singing’, I can feel the excitement rise. That’s right, the hit production ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ is set to delight Brisbane audiences from September 22. With an all star cast including Adam Garcia, Gretel Scarlett and Erika Heynatz, one of the world’s most loved movies is transformed to a stage show that is packed full of charm, romance, comedy.
As well as the highest entertainment value, the production will delight audiences young and old, promising lots of singin, and lots of rain…12,000 litres to be precise.
Don’t miss out on the limited season and get your tickets ASAP to what is sure to be a sell out show.

Cirque du Soleil
If you have not been fortunate enough to witness the pure finesse that is Cirque du Soleil, I highly recommend you attend the Kooza show before doing anything else, but don’t be fooled, this isn’t just any old circus. Opening on November the 24th at Skygate Brisbane Airport with a strictly limites season, Kooza combines acrobatic performance with the art of clowning, paying homage to the traditions of circus performance whilst also exploring fear, identity, recognition and power – it will have your imagination and pulse racing.
Cirque du Soleil shows have played to over 160 million spectators in more than 400 cities in over 60 countries across six continents, so the arrival of a new Cirque show in Brisbane is always a big deal, and Kooza looks to be no exception. Cirque du Soleil will shock audiences due to the sheer talent and composition, making it one of the most memorable shows you will ever see or witness in your life.
Tick it off your bucket list, or at least put it on your bucket list, buy a ticket and then tick it off, because moments like these don’t come around too often.
