Don’t be a bore this Mother’s Day and do the usual card, chocolate and flowers for mum. Instead, get mum excited, dolled up and ready for a lovely breakfast, lunch or dinner – with the inclusion of a few glasses of bubbly of course. There are few Mother’s Day specials happening across Brisbane, and luckily, we’ve listed them here to make it easier for you (ensuring you don’t end up taking mum to the fish and chip shop down the road).

The extensive menu is well-renowned and full of only the most quality ingredients (did someone say confit duck leg!?). Prices start at $80 for 2 courses, $100 for 3 courses and kids at $25.
WATT
Brisbane Powerhouse, 119 Lamington St, New Farm
Dining by the Brisbane River – yes please! We think you’ll be as stoked about this electric restaurant as mum will be. Great food and a thunderous environment, this Mother’s Day is going to be unforgettable. You can grab a 3 course, shared feast menu at $65 per person that includes the like of 12-hour slow cooked Goldfields lamb shoulder, ricotta doughnuts and so much more.
Mother’s Day is that one day of the year where you have to tolerate your mum’s nagging and not say anything in retaliation or exasperation, so at least you’ll have one of the above beautiful settings to make things just that little more tolerable, right?
Happy Mother’s Day everyone!
