The brains behind Brisbane’s iconic CBD beer garden Riverland have launched a winter exclusive Butter Bar. Running from the 30th of May, you’ll find mugs of Cargo Cult’s Australian made buttered rum, encapsulating a blend of spices such as clove, ginger, and cinnamon paired with a cloudy warmed apple juice.
Sticking to their industrial themed roots, the bar will be serving drinks on deck from inside a Tiki styled shipping container, giving a new meaning to the term pop-up.
Featuring a mulled apricot red wine sangria, Riverland’s mixologists are bringing a slight twist to the classic spiced beverages that have long been keeping the winter blues away. Don’t stress if your go-to on a night out is usually an espresso martini, wind down and indulge in the mocha hot pot instead, which features a blend of espresso, chocolate, and vanilla vodka to soothe your sweet tooth.
If you’re looking for a bite to eat alongside the selection of drinks, Riverland will have Phil’s kitchen kicking off the season serving his famous spicy coconut Laksa, with your choice of duck, chicken, seafood or vegetables.
The Butter Bar will be open on Thursday’s through to Saturdays from 5pm, a prime time to warm your mind, body and soul.
