Do you have a lager than life personality? Don’t have a six pack but bring a six pack to every party? Not into crafts but into craft beer? Well get ready for the pitcher perfect weekend, Fresh from Melbourne, for the first time; BeerFest is coming to Brisbane.
Saturday the 14th of March, BeerFest hits Brisbane, setting up in sunny Victoria Park from 1pm-8pm with over 20 craft brewers, cider and wine makers as well as distillers from around the country. Feel every bit the beer connoisseur as you mingle with the pros and learn about the art of brewing through the many masterclasses at the festival.
Need to impress a date? Why not attend one of the masterclasses running throughout the day? Pick a session on ‘Beer and Cheese- The Perfect Match’ with Chris Sheehan who is both a world class brewer and a certified cheese judge; talk about impressive! Or alternately ‘Beer Build Community’ by Your Mates Brewing Co and ‘The Future of Beer’ presented by Cryer Malt, just to name a few.
More into cocktails than craft beer? Fear not, the festival offers a range of stalls showcasing the finest wines, spritzes and cocktails because after all, you don’t need beer to enjoy BeerFest!
As well as a selection of the best bevs in Brisbane; BeerFest is offering up a delicious serving of food from the top eateries around the state. From Take a Bao to Queen of Cupcakes, as well as top vegan, vego and gluten free picks, there’s something for everyone that’s both incredible tasting and incredibly instagramable!
Need a side of entertainment with your beer? BeerFest Brisbane will be brimming with performances this year. With Comedy from industry powerhouses such as Damien Bell and Luke Heggie. As well as incredible music with Art vs Science headlining the Festival this year so you know you’ll be belting out Parlez Vous Francais on the train home.
You will not only be lucky enough to see Art vs Science headline, but will get to taste their exclusive collab with BeerFest and Burnley Brewing and CryerMalt as part of their 10th Anniversary tour. The summer ale will be limited addition and only available at BeerFest; Burnley Brewing and Art vs Science have even teamed up to design the beer cans artwork reminiscent of the band’s first album cover! If that’s not incentive to grab you and your mates a ticket, I don’t know what is!
