Nestled on the second floor of Curtin House, The Toff in Town is regarded as one of Melbourne's premier live music venues and is a key leader when it comes to reviving the live music scene in Melbourne.

Hosting the full spectrum of Australian performing arts including music (from hip-hop to country to ensembles), dance, comedy, and theatre, the unique space often features a range of well-known international acts. It is frequently immersed in cultural events such as the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Melbourne Music Week, and this year has played host to the Australian Music Prize.

Described as ‘a naughty room with an intimate cabaret feel’, the space has a capacity ranging from 90 (fully seated) to 300 (standing only) and features a remarkable sound system. With live music occupying the room most nights of the week, things get a bit more playful as soon as the bands wrap up.
