The George Public Bar is housed in the Basement of the famous George Hotel on the corner of Fitzroy and Grey Street in St Kilda. It has a long and colourful history, recently undergoing a bit of a facelift to give the space a more luxe feel. With a focus on fine Australian spirits and fine cocktails, the venue now offers the perfect backdrop for your night out or celebration.

Each day, they have happy hour specials from 4 – 7pm for clients to unwind and enjoy a Beer, wine or signature cocktail in a relaxed and cosy setting. Deep house tunes help to enhance the relaxed vibe of the venue.

There is something special about basement bars, walking down the stairs and basking in the mysteriousness of a hidden space. When you combine that with a luxe setting, a great chilled vibe and fine drinks then you have your night out sorted.
