Open Monday to Saturday, the Croft Institute is one of Melbourne’s first ever laneway bars. You will find the institute tucked down one of the many winding alleys of china town.

This venue is made up of two different themed levels with the overall abandoned institution feeling creeping into each floor. The ground floor is designed to imitate an old school science lab where the bartenders can experiment and custom design cocktails to suit your personal taste.

The ‘Gymnasium’ room opens on the weekends, so if you make your way up the staircase and through the eery asylum styled halls you will find yourself on the top gym floor, with Dj’s and a dance floor to take you through the night.

The Croft institute boasts a unique/quirky environment to relax and unwind.
