Moon Dog is a rad craft brewery in the backstreets of inner Melbourne’s Abbotsford. Started in 2010 by two brothers and their mate, with a love of craft beer and a desire to make beers they couldn’t get anywhere else, they put together the original brewery from re-purposed dairy equipment. They’ve grown a heap since then, adding a ballroom oasis function space. The original brewery space is now their indoor-outdoor-brewery-bar-paradise.

The brewery bar is set in front of the still operating original brewery, decked out with comfy couches, a retractable roof and a array of ever growing paraphernalia on the walls. There’s a rotating lineup of 10 beers on tap, ranging from old favourites Old Mate Pale Ale or Mack Daddy Dark Ale to more unique one off single. There’s also a not-beer list of Moon Dog Fizzers, wine, cider, the occasional cocktail and the pizza kitchen serves up damn tasty pizzas.

Drop by on a Tuesday night for trivia or Wednesday evening for a game of bingo with prizes!
