Amongst the hustle and bustle of the Melbourne CBD, The Grain Store resides on Flinders Lane. A breath of calm and fresh air in the centre of the city, The Grain Store invites passersby in with breezes of delicious seasonal food wafting from its doors.

Designed by Betty & Wolfe, stepping into the space transports one to a simpler time when food focused on taste and balance. The Grain Store prides itself on their sustainable and ethical food focus, creating hearty and humble dishes with flavour as central.

Head Chef Ingo Meissner thoughtfully creates his menus to best utilise seasonal organic produce. This attention to detail has certainly paid off with The Grain Store recently being awarded three stars in The Age Good Food Under $30 Awards.

Aside from the main dining area there is also a private function space that can be closed off to the public that seats 18 people. The Grain Store is open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week and dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
