Carlton Wine Room is an iconic Melbourne venue located on the corner of Faraday & Drummond St in Carlton. Manned by head chef John Paul Twomey (ex. Cutler & Co.) and owners Andrew Joy (Cumulus) & Travis Howe (Tonka) the team bring years of expertise to ensure the highest quality of food and service.

The venue itself is available for exclusive hire for events of up to 100 guests or there are three unique private dining options available for hire seven days a week.

The Cellar Room

Located downstairs beneath the bar on the ground floor the Cellar is an intimate space with rustic stone walls, timber beams and our full wine selection on display. This space can seat up to 24 guests over two long tables and offers a fabulous point of difference for an original event.

The Faraday Room

Located on the second floor overlooking Faraday Street this classic space features high ceilings with art deco fixtures as well as an entrance room for arrival beverages and canapés. The Faraday Room accommodates up to 18 guests on one long table for a seated event. With an abundance of natural light the Faraday Room is the perfect space for an elegant lunch or an evening spent drinking great wine as the sun sets over Carlton.

The Drummond Room

Also located on the second floor overlooking Drummond St. The Drummond Room offers a casual and intimate space for up to 18 guests. A fun room for entertaining this space comes fitted with a record player and a bunch of vintage LP’s, a drinks trolley and elegant Scandinavian fittings throughout.
