Bowerbird Cocktail Function Venues

Bowerbird bar greets you at the door with a white neon birdhead. The architectural fit out of timber and textile is clean and warm, providing a relaxed contemporary space for gathering.

The bar top is made of bluestone, an ode to Melbourne's urban street-scape. Local makers and artisans have provided the lighting design including hand blown glass pendants, timber and copper wall lamps. Ceramic artists adorn the gallery shelves behind the bar made of salvaged Gippsland fire wood. The furniture includes original mid century Parker chairs and handmade bar stools upholstered in Warwick fabrics. Bowerbird is also equipped with CD's for premium music, clean sound attenuation is supported by Tasmanian oak vertical battens which work to diffuse sound, ensuring a conversation is still enjoyed.

Tailored and flexible, Bowerbird can accommodate both large and small groups through multiple furniture arrangements. Options include entire venue hire for intimate gatherings up to 90 people, or non exclusive events where you share the space with the general public for those catch-ups that are larger than a booking, but smaller than a party.
