Owners Michael Madrusan and his wife Zara wanted to create a Parisian-style brasserie in Melbourne. This 100-seater bar features the classic chequered floors and red leather banquettes, evoking images of the French brasseries in New York.

Bar Margaux’s French-inspired menu offers bistro classics like duck frites and escargots de Bourgogne. They also feature traditional French desserts like the crème brûlée. In terms of drinks, the brasserie boasts an extensive cocktail menu, a champagne list and a wine program.

You can get your French comfort food cravings satisfied until early morning hours at this late-night brasserie. Also, keep an eye out for their daily specials throughout the week.
