The Martini Rooms

The Martini Rooms are for the discerning and never disappoint. Perched on the top floor of the stunning and timeless Story Bridge Hotel, the Martini Bar is one of Brisbane’s most unique and glamorous function spaces with spectacular river and city views. The Martini Level is made up of three private rooms including the bar, lounge and buffet room and is suitable for events of 80 to 250 guests. An exquisitely sophisticated and intimate atmosphere makes the Martini Rooms an unparalleled venue for special birthday celebrations, engagement parties and Christmas parties.

The Heritage Rooms

The Heritage Room on the first floor of the Story Bridge Hotel is a delightful space made up of a generous dining room and a more compact reception room and is all class and functionality. Featuring the hotel’s original hardwood floors and historic wrap around verandas, the Heritage Rooms create the perfect setting for elegant dinners, efficient and professional conferences, as well as cocktail receptions. There is comfortable room for up to 50 guests or the space can be transformed into a stylish cocktail space for up to 150 guests.

The Signature Cellar

Down, down low beneath the Corner Bar, the Signature Cellar could be a secret 1920s New York gambling den relocated to modern day Brisbane. The Signature Cellar is a one of a kind private dining room which carries all the rough and tumble history of the original Story Bridge Hotel back in 1886. The original brickwork and polished concrete floors will set the stage for your unforgettable event. Once the Story Bridge Hotel’s wine cellar, the room now offers an intimate and secluded space perfect for both sit down or cocktail occasions.

SBH Pop Up

The SBH Pop Up space on the ground floor is perfect for all events because it can be magically transformed into just about anything, from a delicate dining space to a bells and whistles birthday party. With its own private bar and balcony, this preened and polished room is perfect for events needing a blank canvas to make their mark. The SBH Pop Up works like a dream for up to 50 guests seated, or 150 guests for a cocktail style event. With its seamless access to the Shelter Bar, the party will continue well after the official event is finished.

The Chill Lounge

If you’re after a VIP club experience, the Chill Lounge will take you there. Located adjacent to the bustling Shelter Bar on the ground floor of the hotel, this private space sits right in the centre of the action, but for select occasions can be reserved exclusively for special events of up to 80 guests cocktail style. You and your guests can enjoy the VIP experience while remaining part of the Shelter Bar’s fun and friendly atmosphere.

Deery’s Restaurant & Smokehouse Alcove (private dining space)

Deery’s Alcove is secreted away to the side of the award winning Deery’s Restaurant and Smokehouse. This is a refined and independent space that can be separated with curtains for a more intimate and private dining experience. Deery’s Alcove can cater for up to 25 guests seated and features original brickwork and an ornate pressed-metal ceiling that takes you back to days of old.

Deery’s Restaurant & Smokehouse is a celebrated Brisbane dining venue on the ground floor of the historic Story Bridge Hotel. Draped in hardwood fittings and a towering ceiling, Deery’s comfortably sits 160 guests in what is simultaneously a vibrant, yet intimate venue. Renowned for fine steaks, seafood, poultry and an exclusive wine list, Deery’s is the perfect space for receptions, dinners and celebrations. Its timber décor and views of the river the alluring Brisbane cityscape make for a perfect dinner setting.

Main St Bar & Eatery is a boutique function space that will make your next cocktail party or sit down function sing. This bright, fresh and eclectic space finds its home on the bottom floor of the hotel and can accommodate up to 200 guests standing up to 120 guests sitting down. Main St Bar & Eatery is the perfect setting for your engagement party, birthday or wedding celebration.
