Choose from three event spaces - the High Tide Room, Balcony Room, and the Open Terrace. Each area includes beautiful views of the beach and the marina, and decor of neutral colour schemes, perfect for any event styling. You are encouraged to decorate the space as you wish or let the view at Sammy's take centre stage and opt for minimal decor.

Sammy's is one of Adelaide's most iconic seafood restaurants, the menu is built around locally sourced produce and with fresh seafood in mind. The event menus are customisable and can be tailored to suit your tastes and dietry requirements. Menus include delicious canapes, perfect for cocktail-style events, to banquet style events of two to seven-course set menu, to buffet menus and even shared grazing platters.

• Stunning waterfront location - Sammy's boasts prime location on the waterfront at Glenelg's Holdfast Promenade. With sweeping views of the marina and the surrounding beaches, this picturesque venue lets you soak up the views and admire the sunsets over the water. A truly magical backdrop for your event.


• Exceptional food menus - This award-winning restaurant offers some of the freshest and locally sourced ingredients and seafood in Adelaide. The menus can be used to elevate your event, from canapes to banquets, to shared grazing platters, to set menus from two to seven courses.


• Pride of service - The dedicated events staff prides themselves on their attentiveness, professionalism and friendly service. Previous clients have praised their passion for their service. The dedicated functions manager is on hand to help you plan your next event.

The three event spaces for hire include - 

• The High Tide Room - This exclusive function room offers floor-to-ceiling windows to showcase the spectacular views of the surrounding beach and marina. The High Tide Room can cater to up to 80 guests cocktail style or up to 65 guests for a seated affair. The room also includes a private bar and AV facilities including a screen, projector, microphone and speaker.


• The Balcony Room - The Balcony Room is perfect for hosting smaller functions. Also offering incredible views, this space can cater to up to 60 guests standing or 30 seated. If required, the room can be fitted with a speaker, microphone and music system.


• The Open Terrace - This stunning outdoor terrace overlooks the promenade and the marina and is the perfect space for twilight celebrations or any other time of day. The space accommodates 40 standing and 30 seated.
