Longplay Bistro embodies what they love most: a relaxed, sometimes lively atmosphere to enjoy quality bistro food, fine wine, and vinyl records with friends and family. They wanted it to feel like a dinner party at a friend’s place—a friend who’s an excellent chef, has a carefully curated record collection, and a well-stocked cellar. Their single turntable spins records in full, creating an intimate ambiance. The food reflects their love for simple, well-crafted bistro fare.

Their wine list showcases the bottles they personally enjoy, with a clear emphasis on the regions and styles they're drawn to.

The kitchen is led by Head Chef Calum Horn, whose experience spans acclaimed spots like Barrio (Byron Bay), Harvest (Northern Rivers), and Matt Stone’s You Beauty (Bungalow), and most recently, South Australia’s Summertown Aristologist. Originally from Edinburgh, Calum has made Adelaide his home, with his son born the same week the bistro opened.

The soundscape is curated by Lenin Paunovic, delivering an all-vinyl LP experience through a Funktion One sound system and custom-built sound insulation for optimal enjoyment.
