A stylish cocktail lounge in the heart of Adelaide City, Amber Lounge is positioned in the basement of the historic Ambassadors Hotel on King William Street.

Amber Lounge offers a wide range of gins, whiskeys and unusual spirits not to mention a fantastic list of classic cocktails set to make any cocktail connoisseurs evening complete.

Made up of lounges, booths and mood lighting Amber Lounge is perfect for cocktail evenings, birthdays, hens nights and bucks shows. Television, stereo speakers, microphone, party lights and even a full sized arcade game machine are all included in the room. (More AV facilities are available upon request.)

There are ​no hire fees to book the Amber Lounge, meaning that every cent spent goes to one of your guests. The events team is dedicated to making your special event perfect by working with you to create a function plan that best suits your individual needs. Their attention to detail, outstanding food and excellent service will leave you and your guests with lasting memories, stunning photos and an event people will never forget.

While suitable for parties and events of up to 135 guests, our low minimum spend make this venue affordable for small groups looking for a private space.

If you’re looking for a larger venue or one with a bit more light we also operate the Ambassadors Balcony Atrium which is a stunning room with high ceilings & chandeliers that overlooks King William Street and is suitable for up to 200 guests.
