Have you noticed the string of food trucks and smelt the deliciousness that fills the air on the Yarra front!?! Do you know what this means!?! Melbourne Street Eatz is back!!!  And oh my goodness do we need to get out of the house!!! (I think I may have already used my exclamation mark quota, nah I’m excited, sorry, not sorry!!!!)

Over the next four months, from Thursday through to Sunday, there is a range of food trucks, drinks flowing from two bars and special activities/events. From calamari or curry to tofu and tacos, you can taste flavours from all around the world as well as some good, homegrown comfort food. There will also be Dj sets, games and live entertainment. There will be plenty of day beds to lounge on and you can also hire blankets if it gets chilly at night.

And given the present time, this could be a good shout for doing something and being outdoors; urgh covid is STILL running amuck (Grrrrr). And talking about living in Covid times, Melbourne Street Eatz has a Covid Safe plan too. Don’t forget to stay safe people!

Hottest Hundred Countdown Party

When: Saturday, 22 January 2022

Listening to Triple J’s Hottest 100 whilst having a drink, eating a delicious selection of food and laying back on a picnic blanket – I mean it doesn’t get more perfect than this and you don’t even have to clean the BBQ! Also, once the number 1 song is announced there will be live DJs and bands for you to dance your night away.

The entry fee is $2.

Australia Day – We Are One

When: Wednesday, 26 January 2022

An event where Australians from every background can come together through dance, music, art and entertainment.

This is a ticketed event of $20 and it include a drink on arrival.

Cocktails and Dogtails

When: Sunday, 13 March 2022

This event goes out to all the canine lovers out there. You can bring your fur baby to join in on the fun that will ensue. Hoomans will be greeted with a fancy cocktail and your best fur mate will receive a yummy pupachino. There will be grooming stations, dog competitions, 12 food trucks for you and your pet, 2 bars, live entertainment, roving acts, daybeds and blankets..

$20 including a drink on entry.
