‘Pizza is Sexy’ – this is the bold but accurate declaration that greets you as you enter one of Remo Nicolini’s A25 Pizzerias, hung in suitable pink neon. With a pizza menu balancing a combination of the traditional and the wacky and wonderful, this mantra holds true.  Nicolini has created a pizzeria that is affordable, fun and stylish.

A25 focusses on fresh, delicious ingredients that speak for themselves in simple flavour combinations such as his three-ingredient Margarita, and wilder varieties such as the LSD pizza, with cream of dates, radicchio, liquorice dust and Berkshire sausage.

They have rotating pizza specials, including $15 pizza Mondays, $15 pasta Tuesdays, and Monday – Friday lunches with all pizza and pasta only $15 (with only a few exclusions). Fresh salads are around $10, and antipasti includes an abundance of fresh seasonal cheese and salumi.

There is an expansive vegan pizza menu, with truffles, veggie explosions and a vegan leg ham calzone. There are gluten-free pasta and pizza options, including Coeliac Australia accredited fettucine, caprese salad, gnocchi napoli and pesto, and a buffalo ricotta and spinach lasagne. The GF pizza bases cannot be guaranteed to be 100% gluten-free due to potential cross contamination in the kitchen, but extra care is taken, and the regular pizza bases are made from a combo of gamut, soft wheat flour and spelt that make them easier to digest than regular dough.

Be sure to spice up your dinner with cocktail favourites such as the Bunga Bunga, with peach nectar, blood OJ and persian fairyfloss, and share a literal mound of sweetness with friends with their famous Bomba sweet pizza dessert - "a lot of Nutella", strawberries and either six or three cannoli.
