In recent years, Melbourne has seen a particular influx of vegetarian and vegan friendly dining options. Whether you’re following a vegan/vegetarian diet, or just looking to select a healthier option next time you dine out, why not venture to one of our top 5 Melbourne vegan hangouts?

Matcha Mylkbar
72A Acland St, St Kilda

Matcha Mylkbar

Conveniently nestled in the hub of St Kilda, Matcha Mylkbar’s mission is to “help the earth survive so that you can thrive.”

We are so certain that you’ll love MM, that we think that even the most hardcore carnivore could be converted-now that is a big call. Popular items on the menu include the matcha bun soy chicken burger, (delectable) the blue acai bowl (amazing) and the beetroot latte (an acquired taste, but equally as satisfying.) Team this with a light-filled and airy industrial space, friendly and helpful waiters, and guilt-free dessert options, and you’ll begin to see what all the hype is about.

Of course, good things take time. During your visit to Matcha Mylkbar, you can anticipate a wait time of around 45-60 minutes before you are warmly greeted and shown to your table by your waiter. MM does not take bookings, so why not enjoy all that Acland Street has to offer in the meantime? We assure you that it will all be worth it as soon as the hunger pains begin to subside!
