Festival 21 – Our Future Through Food

FRIDAY THE 11TH DECEMBER.

F21Y DURING THE DAY 12PM-5PM

F21 FLAGSHIP EVENT STARTS 7PM

It’s the end of the year and everyone’s looking for something to do. Well, almost everyone. Santa’s probably pretty busy and got stuff going on, but for the rest of us…

On Friday the 11th of December, thousands of people from all around the world will converge on The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for Festival 21.

A free event, f21 will tackle our biggest social challenges through something we love and celebrate, food. You know, the stuff you eat.

Unprecedented in nature, the festival will be an all-day celebration of community, food and our future.

During the day between 12-5pm is f21Y, a youth event acting as a bootcamp for changemakers between 16-30 years of age. This event will introduce and learn from some of the most influential people who have probably changed your life without you knowing. You’re even allowed to ‘live tweet’ during this event without getting put in the naughty corner. #winning.

In the evening from 7pm, f21’s flagship event will see over 4000 people from Victoria and around the world come together to watch keynote speakers including the likes of Stephanie Alexander AO and Julian Burnside AO QC. Alongside this there’ll be comedy courtesy of The Lioness and Josh Glanc, music from Fatai and La Voce Della Luna, and short films by Kim Nguyen.

Wow, that’s a lot of the sweet stuff…#.

So don’t be a hater, be a player, and get along to f21 on Friday!
